Europe’s population is likely to shrink due to low birth rates and aging, while North America’s population will grow modestly, largely through immigration, with the United States and Mexico remaining the largest countries. Latin America and the Caribbean will experience slower growth, with Brazil and Mexico continuing as the region’s demographic giants. Oceania, led by Australia and Papua New Guinea, will see gradual population increases. Urbanization will intensify globally, with megacities proliferating, especially in Asia and Africa, reshaping the world’s demographic and economic landscape.
