Isle of Man Population

The Isle of Man, a self-governing British Crown dependency located in the Irish Sea between Great Britain and Ireland, has experienced modest population growth in recent decades. According to the Isle of Man Census, the population was approximately 84,000 in 2021, up from around 80,000 in 2001. This growth has been relatively slow, with periods of stagnation and even slight decline, particularly during the 2010s, due to factors such as an aging population and net migration trends. However, recent government initiatives aimed at attracting new residents and boosting the economy have sought to reverse this trend and encourage sustainable population growth in the future.
